Following the success of DBLTV's Back to School Give Back Event, this contest will be highly anticipated within the Los Angeles community. DBLTV has proven to be a pillar in the community by providing resources to the youth through scholarships and outreach programs including financial literacy and the encouragement of academic success.
DBLTV Set to Host 1st Annual Art Contest for Los Angeles Youth The Inglewood Community Art Contest will be open to Los Angeles area high school students between grades 9 through 12. Students are highly encouraged to explore their creativity in their submission. The winner of the contest will receive a cash prize of $200 as well as art supply sets and a trophy to commemorate their achievement. The event will be held in the heart of Inglewood, California at Inglewood Library. Submissions are currently being accepted with the deadline to enter being January 15th, 2018. As with all DBLTV events, this is a community-based occasion with all members of the community encouraged to attend and lend support to both students and parents alike. In addition to the award ceremony DBLTV will be introducing a new coloring book by Jay'ton Davis titled Colored Only.
DBLTV is proud to be a beacon in the community and promises to continue delivering guidance to the youth. DBLTV is slated to release Mr. President Marks highly anticipated financial literacy guide, Gain the American Dream, as well as Family Values by Ju'Mond Norman.
