European Airbus SE to cut its A380 production

(MENAFN) Chief Executive Tom Enders confirmed Thursday that even though a final decision hasn't been settled on, European aircraft maker Airbus SE is looking into cutting production of its A380 superjumbo each year to six or seven planes.

Airbus has declared that deliveries of the double-decker are to drop from 15 this year to 12 aircraft in 2018 and eight in 2019.

Reuters was informed by Airbus Chief Operating Officer Fabrice Bregier "we believe we can produce this aircraft at 6-7 a year in an industrial way."
