Ezdan Hotel was the proud sponsor of Al Dana Green Run 2017 in its 13th edition.
It was hosted by Doha Bank in cooperation with the Qatar Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Culture and Sports, Qatar Sports Federation for All, MoI's Traffic Department and Aspire Academy, in conjunction with the commencement of Qatar National Day celebrations for this year.
For such initiative, Ezdan Hotel was keen to contribute to the event through the provision of over 3,000 bottles of water as well as hot and cold beverages and healthy snacks to a large number of participants in the run, which covered 3,000M circuit around Khalifa Stadium in Aspire Zone.
The race organisers offered free registration for Al Dana Green Run, which was held on December 9, 2017.
Such drive is regarded one of the most widely attended community events in the country, to which people from all walks of life take part with the aim of promoting environmental awareness and a healthy lifestyle within the community.
This year participation was special as it paid homage to Qatar and support the recently launched Tamim Al Majd (Tamim the Glorious) campaign by spreading messages of unity and solidarity among the community.
For his part, Acting Hotels Group General Manager Wael El Telbany expressed his delight for the cooperation and support of the Al Dana Run, which witnessed a large turnout from all categories of citizens and residents.
He said: 'The participation of Ezdan Hotel through its sponsorship of such event stems from its strategy to enhance participation in communal events and reinforce its social responsibility, especially in all sectors that seek to promote environment and healthy lifestyle by encouraging the practice of sports, which stand on the country's top priorities.
El Telbany added that the hotel has been able to attain remarkable achievement in this area, among all the hotels operating in the country.
He explained that Ezdan Hotel excelled in sponsoring a large number of major events and sports gatherings, in addition to hosting many athletes and sport figures from around the world, participating in a different international championships held in the State of Qatar.
It is worth mentioning that Ezdan Hotel has provided full-fledged support to a number of important regional and international sports and student competitions and tournaments.
