(MENAFN) The government confirmed that a couple of Reuters journalists in Myanmar who were reported missing since Tuesday to be in police custody.
The international news agency explained that the reason for the detainment of journalists Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo in Yangon is yet to be clear.
Reuters confirmed "we are urgently seeking more information about the circumstances of their arrest and their current situation."
