Rohit Sharma is the first cricketer in the history of the sport with 3 ODI double hundreds to his name.
Two of them were against Sri Lanka.
Today, he scored 208 runs in 153 deliveries in 2nd ODI against SL hitting 12 sixes and 13 boundaries.
His first was against Australia in November'13; in November'15 he set the highest individual score in ODI scoring 264 against SL.

India ended the innings with a superb score of 392 in 50 overs against Sri Lanka in the 2nd ODI at Mohali.
Rohit Sharma is the first Indian-opener to score 6 or more ODI hundreds in a year, since Ganguly in 2000 and Sachin in 1996 & 1998.
