(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Vienna- The Ministry of Health (MoH) received the International Diamond Prize for Excellence in Quality 2017 in Vienna recently.
The award is granted by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR) as an excellence certificate for various service institutions in different parts of the world. The award comes in recognition of MoH's efforts to promote health services in the sultanate.
It was received by Dr Ahmed bin Salim al Mandhari, Director General of Quality Assurance Center, MoH at a special event in the presence of representatives of 54 institutions from 43 countries. The award comes in recognition of the good efforts made by health practitioners in the sultanate's health system as well as the support they receive from the ministry in implementing the plans and strategies since the beginning of the Blessed Renaissance.
