(MENAFN) FIFA President Giovanni Vincenzo Infantino will attend the opening ceremony of the 23rd Gulf Cup "Khaleeji 23", set to kick-off on December 22.
The tournament was relocated to Kuwait after initially scheduled to be held in Qatar, coinciding with the FIFA decision to lift the ban on Kuwait.
Infantino has officially informed the Kuwait Football Association (KFA) officials of his intention to attend Khaleeji 23 opening ceremony, which will be held at the new Shaikh Jaber Stadium, according to Ittihad newspaper.
