Public inquiry hearings over Grenfell Tower blaze set to begin

(MENAFN) So as to set up the outline of the Grenfell Tower fire public investigation, hearings of two days are set to commence soon.

Chairman of Grenfell Tower Sir Martin Moore-Bick is to seek a proper method so evidence is provided by witnesses.

The hearings follow an accusation by Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn of the government "failing" the 14 June fire survivors as at least a hundred of the survivors remain in hotels rather than homes.

It was reported by a group of residents that of the 208 families in need of re-housing, only 42 were provided with permanent homes.
