AMMAN —AlGhad— His Majesty King Abdullah II and Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Sisi discussed the recent developments in Jerusalem today, Sunday, over the phone, in light of the recent US decision, recognising it as the capital of Israel, pending the relocation of the US embassy. King Abdullah, during the call, stressed the vitality of supporting our Palestinian brethren in their rightful quest to establish their own independent state, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
He stressed to Sisi that restoring the status-quo in Jerusalem is key to realising peace and stability in the region.
