Turkmenistan reveals data on execution of state budget

The revenue part of Turkmenistan's state budget for the eleven months of 2017 was executed by 100.6 percent, while the expenditure part by 88.4 percent, Batyr Bazarov, the country's minister of finance and economy, said at a government meeting, Turkmenistan State News Agency reported Dec. 9.

'Salaries, state allowances, pensions and student scholarships have been timely and fully financed, said the message.

Under the Law on state budget for 2017, adopted by the Turkmen parliament, the state budget revenues will total 103.57 billion manats, and expenditures 104.87 billion manats.

The official exchange rate of the Turkmen manat against US dollar has remained unchanged since January 2015 ($1 = 3.5 Turkmen manats).
