Pakistan- Woman among three killed for 'Honour' in Lower Dir


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) LOWER DIR, 7 December: Three people, including a woman, have been killed in the name of honour in two separate incidents in Lower Dir.

Police said the first incident happened in Samarbagh area where Pass Muhammad first shot dead his sister at home and then also shot dead Rehman, a resident of Nakhan Bandai, outside his home on suspicion that both had an affair. Police took both the bodies in custody and started investigation into the case. Pass Muhammad fled the scene after committing double murder.

The second incident occurred in Walo Oba village where Abdus Sattar told police that Muhammad Sattar has killed his son in the name of honour.

Abdus Sattar said he received information that Muhammad Sattar has locked his son inside a room of his house. He said Muhammad Sattar had killed his son when he reached there. The local people said a girl from the accused family also went missing from her house a day earlier.
