(MENAFN) Bali airport has presumed its operations after a volcanic eruption spread ash across the island, forcing its airport to close.
Air traffic control provider AirNav stated: "Bali's international airport started operating normally."
AirNav added that the decision to reopen the airport came after an emergency meeting in it, considering weather conditions, tests and data from AirNav and others.
Singapore Airlines would flights between Singapore and Bali on Wednesday, while Jetstar would manage 16 flights to Australia on Thursday to transport 3,800 passengers home.
