Pakistan- Educational institutions remain closed in Abbottabad, Mansehra


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) ABBOTTABAD: The district administrations of Abbottabad and Mansehra districts has announced to keep educational institutions closed on Monday as protests continue to condemn the federal government's crackdown on protesters in Islamabad.

The decision to keep all public and private institutions closed was taken to avoid any mishape, said notifications issued here by administrations of both districts.

The Abbottabad administration ordered closure of educational institutions in eight union councils including Abbottabad city.

It merits mention here that the Government of Punjab too announced to keep all public and private educational institutions closed for two days.

The government had launched a crackdown against protesters who camped out at Faizabad locality of Islamabad, disrupting lives of millions of residents of twin cities.

The crackdown was launched on order of Islamabad High Court after the government and the protesters failed to reach any agreement.
