By Azad Hasanli – Trend:

PASHA Bank plans to open three new branches in Azerbaijan in 2018, Taleh Kazimov, chairman of the bank's board, told reporters in Baku Nov. 23.

He said two branches will be opened in Baku and one more branch is planned to be opened in one of Azerbaijani districts.

'We plan to open one city branch in the coming months and another one during the next year,' he noted. 'As for the district branch, we conduct analyses and studies of the entrepreneurial activity in the Azerbaijani districts, particularly in the Guba and Gusar districts. A final decision will be made following these studies.'

Kazimov also touched upon the possibility of opening a branch in Sumgait.

'Today we see a lot of demand [for our services in the city],' he noted. 'Given high business activity in the last three months, we decided to consider the possibility of opening a branch in Sumgait. However, this is a secondary task.'

PASHA Bank, founded in 2007, renders a range of corporate banking services, including issuance of loans, operations in the securities market, assets management, and treasury services.
