Graduate files a lawsuit against Oxford over alleged negligence

(MENAFN) Brasenose College in Oxford is being sued for one million Pound by one of its graduates, Faiz Siddiqui, who claims their negligence resulted in his legal career to not meet his expectations.

Siddiqui claims that his low upper second degree in June 2000 has been a result of "inadequate" teaching on his modern history course, he also holds the staff liable for taking a leave.

However, Oxford refused claims of negligence and pointed out that the case is "massively" outside the legal time limit.

The graduate's counsel Roger Mallalieu confirmed "whilst a 2:1 degree from Oxford might rightly seem like a tremendous achievement to most, it fell significantly short of Mr Siddiqui's expectations and was, to him, a huge disappointment."
