Azerbaijan detains people for border violation

Thirty-nine people were detained in October for violating Azerbaijan's state borders, the Azerbaijani State Border Service said in a message on November 21.

According to the message, among the detainees are 16 citizens of Azerbaijan, eight citizens of Uzbekistan, six citizens of Tajikistan, two citizens of Iran, two citizens of Pakistan, one citizen of Russia, one citizen of Moldova, one citizen of Kyrgyzstan, one citizen of Sri Lanka and one citizen of India.

Moreover, over 1.5 kilograms of drugs were seized.
