(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Department on Tuesday taken transgender people from different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for a day-long trip to picnic spots.
The transgender people were shown the historical Attock Railway station. A large number of the transgender people gathered to Peshawar Railway Station and were taken to Attock where they were shown some historical sites.
The department has made refreshments arrangements and a music programme where they danced. A statement issued here said that taken them a day-long trip aimed at to express solidarity with the marginalized segment of the society.
It said that programmes would be arranged for tour of the community to parts of the province.
