Satellite images reveal ballistic missile submarine programme of North Korea

(MENAFN) According to the specialized website 38 analysis of recent satellite images, North Korea is on "an aggressive schedule to build and deploy its first operational ballistic missile submarine."

The images signified a great reminder that North Korea has been working on a programme to launch a long-range missile from a submarine for quite a few years; it has also been creating inter-continental range ballistic missiles launched from land.

Recent images illustrated that in order for North Korea to enlarge its manufacture facilities major work needs to be ongoing, even when a prototype sub and a submersible launching barge are already in possession. Moreover, there are signs of a possible further missile-carrying submarine to be under construction.
