UK chancellor Hammond to tackle the squeeze in living standards


(MENAFN) The BBC received information from an acquaintance of Chancellor Philip Hammond saying that in order to target expenses of accommodation and wellbeing, the chancellor is planning to use "headroom" in the public finance.

The ex-transport minister Stephen Hammond alleged that the chancellor plans to employ the budget of next Wednesday to "attack problems" that added up to the Tories' poor election performance.

In March, the chancellor confirmed that he owns "headroom" of 26bn Pound, Labour stated that he ought to deal with the so-called squeeze in living standards.
