(MENAFN) In a Worcester street, a man that was identified as a 63-years-old Robert Sampson has been stabbed by a 28-year-old Daryl Sampson who was charged with murder.
The victim was taken to a hospital after the attack to receive treatment for a severe head trauma and a stab injury, however he was later pronounced dead. The attacker is scheduled to appear before magistrates on Saturday.
Police rushed to the scene after reports were made on Thursday of an individual being attacked in Crookbarrow Road at around 23:00 GMT.
