(MENAFN) In Palm Beach, Florida 2005, President Trump and first lady Melania celebrated their wedding ceremony where they had a chocolate truffle wedding cake that was a take-home souvenir. This piece that marked their day is confirmed to be up for auction.
According to the website of Julien's Auctions located in Los Angeles, the cake is estimated to sell for $1,000-$2,000. The actual wedding cake however, supposedly cost $50,000 and was a seven-tier cake that guests found it too much to consume.
However, the wedding cake is not the first piece put up for auction to throw a commotion among bidders, President Trump also presented last month a sketch of the Empire State Building that he drew; it was sold at an auction for $16,000.
