(MENAFN) Earlier this week, authorities confirmed that an hour after delivering her child, the sixteen year old from Denver, Alaya Dotson, chocked her newborn daughter, Amekah, by pushing a rock down her throat.
In September, the newborn baby was supposedly killed by her mother, medical examiners later judged the death as homicide.
Dotson supposedly informed the police she was ignorant to the fact she was pregnant but came into awareness when she was about to give birth while using the restroom.
Following the birth of the newborn, Dotson took her up to her room where she allegedly told police was "lying on the floor with baby right next to her," and that the "baby's arms were moving back and forth, but she was not crying."
