Labor union to end strike

(MENAFN) A labor union at LG Household & Healthcare announced it would terminate its strike over the wage raise issue on the 52nd day of the protest.

About 400 union members have set up tents outside the headquarters of the company since Sep. 23 after starting the strike on Sep. 20.

As the members had issues with sustaining their families, the union decided to end the strike, but said it will carry on with the negotiations with the management.

Several members of the union are workers at the main production plant of the company, and with 380 of 505 workers in the union, the plant's operation has been affected.
