Disney's streaming determination increased its shares

(MENAFN) Shares of Walt Disney has increased 3% on Friday, as Wall Street ignored the low income results and focused on its determination to establish a service that will compete with Netflix.

Disney's decision on streaming was because it was losing subscribers of its cable network, who were going for cheaper options.

CEO of Disney said on Thursday that his dedication to streaming was the company's "highest priority this year."

The company also said it will not include its new Disney releases in Netflix starting from 2019, to be a stronger competitor.
