GM Korea and Renault Samsung sales affected by lack of new models

(MENAFN) According to industry observers Korea Co. and Renault Samsung Motors Co. car sales in South Korea are affected by new models deficiency.

The two companies are unlikely to meet their targeted sales for this year with this low demand, which is forcing them to start tough marketing campaigns to attract buyers.

GM Korea overall sales numbers were even unable to exceed 10,000 units in September and October, raising concerns which may lead to entirely terminating South Korean operations.

Up until last month, GM Korea has sold 110,176 cars, a 23.9% decrease compared with the same period in 2016.
