Body of child found where 3YO Sherin Mathews went missing

Texas police think they have recovered the body of Sherin Mathews, a three-year-old who went missing more than two weeks ago.
The remains of a child were found in an underground tunnel. Locals report there are coyotes in the area.
Identification of the body, which was found about 0.5 miles from the Mathews' Richardson house, was underway.
Meanwhile, Sherin's parents have reportedly stopped cooperating.

At about 3am on October 7, Wesley Mathews sent out Sherin, who has developmental issues, out of the house to punish her for not drinking milk. He asked her to stand in the backyard.
When he went to check in on her 15 minutes later, he couldn't find her.
He thought she would return soon. So they didn't inform police till five hours later.
The father was arrested soon after, then released on bond
Action
Wesley was arrested for abandoning or endangering a child; he was later released after depositing a bond of $250,000, surrendering his passport and wearing a monitoring bracelet.
Wesley and Sini, Sherin's adoptive mother, have reportedly stopped cooperating. Their four-year-old daughter has been placed in foster care.
Incidentally, police said on the night of the mishap, a vehicle had left their residence during 4-5am.
Rescue teams have surveyed the area with sniffer dogs, choppers
Status
Since her disappearance, US Marshals, FBI and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children have scoured the area with K-9 teams and helicopters.
Investigators have now found a body in a culvert below a road that is "most likely" Sherin.
A medical examiner is yet to make an ID. The cause of death isn't known yet.
No arrests have been made till now.
