England is plotting revenge in women's Ashes

(MENAFN)England's women are willing to build on the achievement of their World Cup triumph and gain back the Ashes from an Australian side shorn of Captain Meg Lanning.

The all-formats competition promises to be more than a curtain-raiser for the five-test men's series that begins in November when it kicks off with a one-day international in Brisbane.

Australia is desperate to make recompenses for their surprise World Cup semi-final exit in July. While England, with their Captain Heather Knight, are seeking retribution after being defeated on home soil in the previous series in 2015.
