(MENAFN) According to industry source, Samsung is anticipating TV sales to increase profits, as sales of its expensive product are stable.
The sources say that sales of the company's QLED TVs will approximately make 10% of its total TVs shipments.
About 37% of Samsung TVs purchased from Jan-August cost 2,500USD or more, industry tracker GFK said.
The company listed operating earnings of 700b won (620m USD) in the customer electronics sector, including TV sales form Jan-June, while TV sales alone recorded 720b in the same period.
