(MENAFNEditorial) Philadelphia, PA, October 20, 2017— Debut author Jamal Lewis has completed a crime thriller, PROJECT TERROR, which will be published by Prodigy Gold Books in October 2017 on Halloween Day. The announcement was made today by Rahiem Brooks, Chairman of the Prodigy Publishing Group. Terms of the agreement are not being disclosed.
PROJECT TERROR will offer readers a unique amalgam of intrigue, suspense and behind-the-scenes urban drama from the depths of the lowest corridors of Philadelphia street life. It will be informed by insider details that only a military veteran can know. 'Working on a book about an undercover FBI agent—drawing on what I know about espionage, life in the streets of Philadelphia, and the way a criminal investigation works—has been a lot of fun, said Lewis. 'And working with the Prodigy editorial team has been terrific. I've been a crime fiction fan for a very long time and always wanted to write a book.
The publication will be the author's first novel. 'Working with Jamal has been a highlight of our publishing house, and having his first-hand experience in the military and street life has uniquely informed the writing and editing of this novel, said Brooks. 'Jamal is a story-teller and formally played both sides of the criminal fence, and his insight allowed us to tell an interesting one. It's a rare combination—readers will be drawn to the suspense, of course, but they'll also be given an inside look into what it's like to live amongst the people you're investigating.
PROJECT TERROR will be published in trade paperback, ebook, and audiobook, with the logo of Prodigy Gold Books displayed on all editions.
