Emirate to receive its 100th A380 aircraft by November 3


(MENAFN) Emirates is set to receive its 100th (world's largest passenger aircraft), Airbus A380 by November 3, according to the Dubai carrier on Wednesday.

Since its initial flight in 2008, Emirates has flown over 80 million passengers with its A380 fleet to over 45 destinations in Africa, Asia, Europe, Australia, Middle East and the Americas.

President of Emirates Airline, Tim Clark, said in a statement, "The A380 has been, and continues to be hugely popular among our customers, many of whom deliberately plan their travel so that they can fly on it".
