Trump strikes a soldier's widow with a hurtful comment

(MENAFN) It has been argued by The Democratic lawmaker that the president said: "He knew what he was signing up for, but I guess it hurts anyway". It was astonishing to Congresswoman Frederica Wilson to hear about the president's remark to a fallen soldier's widow, she said.

It was this month in Nigeria when Sgt. La David Johnson was amongst four US special service troops and was killed by the hands of radical Islamists.

Following the lethal ambush occurring on 4 October, President Trump did not perform his duty of offering condolences to the families of the deceased soldiers, an act which he often receive criticism for.

"Democrat Congresswoman totally fabricated what I said to the wife of a soldier who died in action (and I have proof). Sad!" confirmed the President by a tweet Wednesday morning. However, the proof is yet to be presented.
