(MENAFN) After many people were killed in a huge stream of wildfires, interior minister of Portugal has resigned.
Constaca Urbano de Sousa have mentioned in her resignation letter that she was resigning to "preserve her personal dignity".
The former ministry of Constanca Urbano de Sousa is in charge of firefighters and Portugal's civil protection agency, which have been criticized over the way the dealt with the fires.
