A 38-year-old pregnant woman jumped to her death from a residential building in Tai Po in Hong Kong's New Territories on Tuesday. At 1:20pm, when the woman's mother, aged 56, returned home at Block 2 of Full Scene Garden on Ting Kok Road, she found that her daughter was not home, but the was open, Ta Kung Po reported.
When the mother went downstairs, she found her daughter lying on the ground. Police and paramedics arrived but the pregnant woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

No suicide note was found, Sing Pao reported, adding that the woman was 20 weeks pregnant and had been suffering from prenatal depression.
