Facebook buys a new app for teenagers

(MENAFN) Facebook has bought an app called tbh, which encourages teenagers to be nice to one another, and it already has 5m downloads.

The deal was for 'less than $100m', and the app's 4 creators will be employed in Facebook, according to start-up news site TechCrunch.

Facebook stated: 'tbh and Facebook share a common goal of building community and enabling people to share in ways that bring us closer together.'

The company succeeded in creating a secret app that hasn't become an opportunity of harassment and targeting people, which several apps before wasn't able to achieve.
