(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) DHAKA : World Tourism Day will be observed on September 27 in Bangladesh, as elsewhere in the world, with the theme 'Sustainable Tourism-a Tool for Development.'
This was disclosed by Rashed Khan Menon, Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism, at Bangladesh Tourism Board (BTB) conference hall in the city on September 26.
The minister is expected to lead a colourful rally on September 27 from Matsya Bhaban to TSC of Dhaka University in the city via the Doel Chattar.
A twelve-day programme has been taken up by various organizations in observance of the day.
