Afghanistan- Four dead, 14 wounded in Helmand traffic accident


(MENAFN- Afghanistan Times) AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: Four civilians died and 14 others injured after a bus collided with a truck in the Washer district of southern Helmand province on Monday morning, officials said.

The district administer, Mohammad Saleem told Pajhwok Afghan News the traffic accident took place at around 9am on the Nimroz-Kabul highway.

He said the accident has taken place at a time when a bus collided head-on with a truck in which four people were killed and 14 others wounded, he added; fearing number of casualties might be increased.

An official at the Greshk hospital said 10 injured people have been received in the hospital to provide them required treatment and the rest of the injured and dead bodies were transferred to Lashkargah Hospital.

The bus belonged to the Ayubi Transport Company.
