Jordan- King inaugurates the 2nd and 3rd phases of housing project


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Sept. 25 (Petra)-- His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, on Monday inaugurated the second and third phases of the Princess Salma military housing project in Zarqa Governorate, in the presence of Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. General Mahmoud Freihat.

Established in response to His Majesty's directives, the housing project seeks to provide comfort, stability and a decent living for military personnel.

His Majesty toured and checked some of the residential apartments, where the first phase, which was inaugurated several years ago, included 170 residential units, while 155 units were allocated for the second phase and 145 units for the third phase.

Designs and plans of the project, comprising 470 apartments, were drawn up in line with modern architectural standards as the task was undertaken by the Military Housing and Public Works Directorate, in cooperation with a specialized company.
