Kenya moves presidential elections to October 26th

(MENAFN) Kenya's electoral commission announced it changed the date of the country's presidential elections to October 26th.

According to the statement they released, plans to hold the vote on October 17th had to be scrapped because it needs more time to meet the requirements set by the Supreme Court.

Also it said the electoral commission did not give the court access to its computer servers to disapprove the charge by veteran opposition leader Raila Odinga.
