(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) TIRAH, 23 September: A lieutenant on Saturday martyred in a terrorist attack near border area in Rajgal valley of Khyber Agency, an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release said.
It said that terrorists attacked a Pakistani post from other side of the border, adding that Lieutenant Arsalam Alam was the commanding officer. The press release added that the post was hit leaving the 22-year lieutenant dead.
The area was recently declared clear of militants after concluding a military operation Khyber-IV. However, according to Director General ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor said that they could not carry out operation against terrorists on other side of the border.
