Around 3,500 Jewish settlers' homes built on private Palestinian land

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, Aug.23 (Petra) -- Some 3,500 illegal settlements including residential and public buildings were built on private Palestinian lands in the West Bank, according to Israeli Civil Administration data, the Haaretz daily reported today.

Israeli associations, settlement companies as well as the Civil Administration of the Israeli occupation army were aware that these homes are being built on Palestinian private land in advance, but they did not prevent the construction.

Meanwhile, Palestinians were able to prove their ownership of land, where the illegal "Amona" outpost was built near Silwad town east of Ramallah, and forced Jewish settlers to evacuate several months ago.
