Industrial production in Tunisia falls by 2.3pct in Q2


(MENAFN) Industrial production in Tunisia recorded a 2.3 percent fall in the second quarter of the year, compared with a slight increase of 0.2 percent in 2016.

Accordingly, the fall in the industrial production index (IPI) is due to lower production of the extraction of energy products sector by 13.9 percent.

On the other hand, the decline also affected the manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products.
