Eight People injured After Stabbing Attack in Russia, Attacker Shot Dead


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Rabat - A knifeman was shot dead by Russian authorities after a stabbing attack caused injury to eight people in the Siberian city of Surgut on Saturday.

Two people were hospitalized in critical condition, said state-funded news agency, RIA Novosti.

The attack happened around 10:20 a.m. local time. Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant claimed responsibility for the incident via its news agency, AMAQ.

The assault occurred two days after , where 14 were killed and at least 100 people injured.

These two incidents were not the only murders happened this week. On Friday, two people were killed and others were injured after at two markets squares in the Finnish city of Turku.
