Trade turnover between Ukraine and Belarus grew by 10.5% in 2016


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) In 2016, commodity turnover between Ukraine and Belarus amounted to $3.83 billion, which is 10.5% higher than in 2015.

The Belarusian news agency BelTA reported this with a reference to the data provided by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry and Statistics Service.

"In 2016, Ukraine was the second among the trade partners of Belarus in terms of turnover and exports. The trade turnover between Belarus and Ukraine in 2016 increased by 10.5%, exports - by 13.2%, imports - by 3.2%. The balance is positive - $1.87 billion," reads the report.
