(MENAFN) The total value for transactions conducted through the UAE Funds Transfer System, FTS, during the first five months of 2017 was at AED2.9tr, comparing to AED3tr during the same period last year.
In details, on January, transactions worth AED620bln, as it dropped to AED587 billion in February, AED580 billion in March, and to AED 541 billion in April before growing again in May to AED583.4bln.
Data showed also the in May, it recorded the highest level of money withdrawals since the beginning of the year with a record of AED25.56bln.
In details, the month of May recorded the highest level of money withdrawals since the beginning of the year with a record of AED25.56 billion, followed by March at AED22 billion.
