(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Charity (QC) has completed two projects aimed at providing aid to needy families and distributing zakat in Gaza Strip as part of its Ramadan campaign targeting more than 10,000 poor individuals and orphans across the different provinces of Gaza.
In a statement, Qatar Charity said 660 poor Palestinian families obtained a one-time financial aid to cover their needs, particularly as Eid al-Fitr draws close.
The zakat project targeted 770 poor and orphan families in order to alleviate their economic burdens ahead of Eid al-Fitr.
Qatar Charity provided Eid clothing for 264 children from the age group of 6-11 years belonging to both genders as part of the Eid project.
