(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Muscat Grand Mall (MGM), Oman's favourite shopping and lifestyle destination, has celebrated qaranqasho for three nights, providing fun and entertainment for children and families during the holy month of Ramadan.
The events, which saw a huge turnout of children and families, were held in partnership with the Muscat Municipality, Ooredoo and Orpic and saw three different qaranqasho celebrations running over consecutive nights, beginning on the 15th day of Ramadan.
MGM hosts annual qaranqasho celebrations with the goal of engaging with the community on special occasions, which is one of the mall's priorities.
The celebrations kicked off with Muscat Municipality conducting a special event on Friday, June 9. While the following night was celebrated with another event organised by Ooredoo.
Finally, the third event was organised by Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company - Orpic on June 11.
Qaranqasho is a beautiful occasion for children and is celebrated every Ramadan throughout Gulf countries. MGM celebrates this occasion every year in order to share these great and unforgettable moments with visitors, and this year MGM management decided to make celebrations even better by holding events three nights in a row and providing fun activities, competitions and prizes for the young ones.
MGM management extends its thanks to everyone who attended the events and shared the moments of joy and amusement with the children and parents. It would also like to thank the partners who supported the special qaranqasho celebrations, namely Muscat Municipality, Ooredoo, and Orpic.
The qaranqasho celebrations included fun activities like henna, games, exciting magic shows, theatrical performances, in addition to face painting and other great activities for the young ones. Special gifts and prizes were given to children who participated in the activities over the three nights.
MGM is on the verge of opening the third phase of Tilal complex, which is expected to happen this year. The large expansion includes 130 more shops for the mall, including some of the most famous local, regional, and international brands entering the Omani market for the first time. Further famous retail outlets in fashion and F & B will be a surprise for mall visitors.
