Gulf Air to launch operations to Tbilisi on June 22

Gulf Air in partnership with the Georgian National Tourism Administration (GNTA) and Voyager Ltd, Gulf Air's General Sales Agent (GSA) in Georgia, recently hosted key members of Bahrain's travel trade industry in Bahrain, aimed at informing guests of the airline's upcoming route launch to Tbilisi on June 22 and promoting Georgia as a destination for every kind of traveller.
Esam Al Hammadi, Gulf Air Country Manager Bahrain spoke of the importance of synergy between Gulf Air the Georgian National Tourism Administration and Voyager as all three entities work together to boost travel and tourism to this destination, tapping into the potential that the travel trade has to offer in Bahrain and beyond.
Amiran Ivanidze COO of Convention and Exhibition Bureau of Georgia, GNTA spoke of the growing popularity of Georgia as a destination particularly for year-round leisure and MICE visitors, while Mariam Kvrivishvili General Director, Voyager, Gulf Air's General Sales Agent (GSA) in Georgia elaborated on the many attractions of Tbilisi and neighbouring areas which draw visitors for all of medical and wellness tourism, family holidays, ski, lakeside, cultural and adventure holidays.
Gulf Air's direct 3 weekly flights between Bahrain International Airport and Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport will commence on 22nd June 2017 and Voyager will facilitate ticket sales from/to Tbilisi and beyond, across the Gulf Air network.
Bahrain's national carrier operates double daily flights or more to 10 regional cities, providing seamless connectivity for passengers travelling across its network via its efficient Bahrain International Airport hub.
