Abdelmadjid Tebboune appointed as new Algerian Prime Minister

ALGERIA, 25th May, 2017 (WAM) -- Abdelaziz Bouteflika, President of Algeria, has appointed Abdelmadjid Tebboune as the new Prime Minister, replacing Abdelmalek Sellal, the Algeria Press Service has said.

Tebboune is a 74-year-old former Housing and Urban Affairs Minister, and member of the National Liberation Front.
