Doha: The Moon Sighting Committee of the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) announced it could not sight the crescent moon for the holy month of Ramadan on Thursday evening.
The Committee decided to meet on Friday, to spot the crescent moon.
The committee held its meeting this evening under the chairmanship of HE Dr. Thaqeel bin Sayer Al Shammari, the Committee said in a statement. (QNA)
