Kuwait oil price up 69 cents to USD 50.97 pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, May 25 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil was up 69 cents to USD 50.97 per barrel (pb) on Wednesday, after being at USD 50.28 pb on Tuesday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Thursday.

Prices fluctuated in international markets after US crude reserve data was revealed, while investors await OPEC's meeting later today in Vienna The meeting is expected to have an effect on oil price worldwide, as it's likely to agree on extending the production cut agreement; taken last January, for another six months in a bid to balance market and decrease offer.
